CarolineCaroline Jaine holds a senior executive position at Albany Associates, an international consultancy that specializes in working in countries in conflict on communications and public diplomacy strategies, and media and broadcast development. The post involves research work, high level engagement, developing proposals and writing strategies for engagement. Caroline has already visited Afghanistan and drafted a new communications strategy for the UN mission and has written several other public information proposals and published articles on public diplomacy. Prior to joining Albany Caroline had 12 years experience with the British Government including working as Press & Public Affairs Officer in Basra, where she developed a coalition wide communication strategy for Southern Iraq, worked with local and international journalists and established a functioning press section at the British Embassy Office. Other assignments have included heading an internal communications programme, winning a public service award for information at the British Mission in Sri Lanka and in 2005 she was Ministerial Speech Writer attached to the Foreign Office Press Office. Caroline has also written articles for national publications and published a photographic book promoting peace in Sri Lanka. She has a background in art & design and has held successful exhibitions of her work in Slovakia and Sri Lanka. She currently lives in Cambridge, England with her three children.
